Technical Sales Manager - After Sales (Recycling) (SF - 195)

We're seeking a Technical Sales Manager - After Sales (Recycling) to lead customer relationships and drive business growth within the Recycling market for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Key clients include scrap dealers, steel mills, and aluminum mills. This role reports directly to the North America After Sales Recycling Manager and the Recycling Business Unit Management, focusing on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve and exceed sales goals within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking.
• Provide technical support for recycling equipment and coordinate marketing initiatives across North America.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries through calls, emails, and on-site visits.
• Prepare and submit accurate visit and activity reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams-engineering, marketing, and product development-to align on customer support and sales strategies.
• Communicate effectively with the back-office team to ensure timely and accurate quotation processes.
• Ensure customer agreements meet all contractual and quality requirements.
• Maintain and update customer databases and CRM records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong technical background in recycling equipment, preferably within ferrous and non-ferrous applications.
• Established relationships or experience with major recycling companies in the Northeast U.S. and Canada.
• Proven sales performance combined with technical understanding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to translate technical information effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Highly organized with strong follow-up and customer service focus.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. and Canada, and occasionally worldwide.
